Indonesian Style. Afterall most of the bus sold in here have a rear engine, rear wheel drive, and inline 6 diesel engine. So it's very common to have a race with the other bus.
And oh, sorry for bad pic, it's recorded by potato, probably.

Dayum. I would not want to meet an Indonesian bus coming the other way.

Well, you have to avoid the countryside then, where the roads are very narrow.

Around here public inter city buses are annoyingly slow, because drivers get bonuses based on how much fuel they save. Buses from private companies usually drive faster but they still more or less stick to the speed limits, if not ones for buses then ones for lighter vehicles. And this is fine by me, at least they don't obstruct the flow.

Well, it's a complete opposite in here. The drivers get more bonus for every hours they save.
For example, if you ride a state owned bus from Jakarta to Bali, arround 1000km, it will takes 24-28 hours. If you ride private owned bus like in that vid, it's only 12-17 hours.
Plus, they're also free to tune their bus, like fitting a bigger turbo or removing some seats to save weight. Simply because diesels are cheap in here, only 2.2 dollars per gallon.
